In Shandong, the Partner Jiajiayue adds two new SPAR stores to its retail portfolio. SPAR Yangguang Xinlu Store (6,000sqm) and Shuijing Garden Store（4,000sqm）unveiled on September 16 and September 17 at Jinan and Jining respectively.

On September 10, a new SPAR premium supermarket opened in Jinan, Shandong. The location is close to the Thousand-Buddha Mountain (Qianfo Shan), Jinan’s largest downtown park. Within the sales area of 6,000㎡, the supermarket brings easy access of over 20,000 groceries to local shoppers.

2020 China Community Business Conference was held in Jinan, Shandong during August 28th and 29th. Livestream e-commerce is already hugely popular in China. How retailers use it as a platform to innovate and boost their community-based grocery business? SPAR leaders from our partners Beijing Huaguan and Shandong Jiajiayue shared their insights on this topic with industrial leaders, experts and national livestream players at the conference. 

Two new SPAR stores opened in Zhangjiakou city, Hebei province, bringing a vast assortment of goods and friendly services to local residents. To celebrate new openings, two locations provided special offers on a range of products, which has been warmly welcomed by locals in both areas. 

Jiangmen is a city in Guangdong Province in southern China. On August 29, the first SPAR Flagship store in the city unveiled at Taishan Wanda Shopping Center, as an anchor store that draws customer in. 

SPAR partner Shandong JJY Group was awarded as the Best Managed Chinese Company of 2020, and accepted an interview with Harvard Business Review. 

Mr. Wang Peihuan, the chairman of SPAR China and SPAR Shandong JJY Group, delivered his keynote speech on the future of retail supply chain, sharing the best practices and management stories.
