17% Off promotional sales at SPAR stores Guangdong

SPAR Guangdong kicked off a 17% off promotion campaign on October 24th to celebrates its 28th anniversary. More than 140 SPAR supermarkets, hypermarkets, and baby & infant stores in the province have joined this deep discount campaign.
To build anticipation and excitement, SPAR Guangdong launched two-week pre-event advertising campaigns.
The team worked together with Chinese ride and hailing giant Didi Chuxing, China Unicom, China Guangfa Bank and leveraged social channels to spread discount coupons and sales focused messages. On October 24th, registered members not only enjoyed 17% off on nearly all items available on shelves, but also received a ¥20 digital coupon for every 198 CNY spent at SPAR stores, which allows shoppers to pay their next purchase during October 26 and 31.
Worth to mention, online channel makes big difference this year. Various digital promotions, including livestreaming sales, seckill sales, gift boxes, distribution, home delivery, were offered to help shoppers bridge a greater digital-physical shopping experience.
“As one of the deepest sales events of the year, it helps SPAR shoppers to blend and benefit from both online-offline shopping behaviors. It is also a strong marketing strategy to reach and engage more shoppers with SPAR,” a manager of SPAR Guangdong commented.
