SPAR Beijing Share Modern Logistic DC Knowledge
SPAR China 2018 LOGIT conference in Zhangjiakou during 25th to 27th April was a great success. After the conference, SPAR China also arranged a tour of SPAR Beijing’s distribution center, inviting over 20 delegates from the various regions to understand the practice of this modern DC. Supported with SPAR International’s best practice, this SPAR Xiaoying DC was developed and opened in 2012. It covers an operation area of 25,000 square meters, and features an ambient warehouse, a fresh warehouse and a food production center with 8,500 designed picking lots and 15,000 storage racks. SPAR Xiaoying DC benefits from implementing RFID logistic solution and Wechat online system to manage a smooth and paperless work environment for daily operations. To reduce inventory risk, SPAR Beijing team has a comprehensive range of measures in place such as scan in barcodes to check existing inventory before goods inbound.
