SPAR China and Yunnan Jinfang Announce Partnership
SPAR International (“SPAR”) and Yunnan Anning Jinfang Commercial Group（“Jinfang”） announced a new partnership agreement authorising Jinfang to grow SPAR brand in Yunnan Province, Liu Pan Shui City, Bijie City, Buyi and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, and Anshun City in Guizhou Province.
Former SPAR International Managing Director Dr. Gordon Campbell, SPAR International Operation Development Evan Christophides, SPAR China Business Development Director Su Wei, SPAR China Design Director Nic Place and Jinfang Group attened the ceremony for granting SPAR licence in Yunnan.
Speaking at the official announcement of the new partnership, Tobias Wasmuht, Managing Director of SPAR International said “China is the engine of global economy, SPAR highly values the China market. Since enter into China in 2004, SPAR worked in close partnership with partners to accelerate the growth of their food retail business through our standard operation, latest store design and modern supply chain expertise, improved shopping experience and enhanced SPAR brand wareness in China. SPAR and Jinfang share key values in multi areas. In order to serve customers in Southeast of China better, we plan to bring high operation standard and modern logistics and supply chain to build diverse retail solutions.
The partnership will result in the current Jinfang stores reconverting to the SPAR brand in the coming months. At present, SPAR work closely with Jinfang on the first SPAR store design. Mr. Li told that SPAR International and SPAR China will allocate an international logistic expert team to support the Jinfang to build a modern warehouse on it.
