SPAR UK Supports Fairtrade Fortnight with Host of Ethical Lines
SPAR stores are bringing their customers a host of Fairtrade-labelled lines including Cadbury Dairy Milk, Nestle Kit Kat, Green & Blacks chocolate, Clipper convenience tea, coffee and hot chocolate, Ben and Jerry's ice cream and Lindeman's wine.
The 2012 Fairtrade Fortnight campaign aims to get everyone choosing Fairtrade items where possible, whether it be a coffee for the mid-morning pick-up, bananas to get them on their way to five a day, or Fairtrade wine or chocolate as an evening treat.
Blakemore Trade Partners Marketing Director Richard Harman said: "By highlighting and promoting Fairtrade items in their stores, our retailers can communicate their commitment to ethical products to shoppers.
"Fairtrade Fortnight is also a great opportunity for SPAR retailers to boost sales of increasingly popular ethical items," Mr Harman said.
