The Fifth SPAR China LOGIT Congress Held in Sichuan
The Fifth SPAR China LOGIT Congress was held in beautiful Chengdu from May 16th to 17th 2016. There were 60 delegates from SPAR China, SPAR International, CCFA and our preferred suppliers that participate in this prestigious congress, including Managing Director of SPAR China Mr. Yoep Man, Operation Director of SPAR International Mr. Tom Rose, IT Director of SPAR Norway Mr. Espen and Supply Chain Director Mr. Per Ola, as well as logistic expert Dr. Dornauer.

The congress themed as “Back to basic, develop logistic network” was presided over by Logistic Director of SPAR China Mr. Tang Haibin. First of all, Vice General Manager of SPAR Sichuan Mr. Zhang Xueqiang, on behalf of the Chairman and President of SPAR Sichuan Mr. Zhang Xiaobin, used his opening speech to warmly welcome all delegates attending this congress and express his best wishes for LOGIT 2016. Then Mr. Yoep Man, the managing director of SPAR China, made a keynote speech. Delegates exchanged in-depth insights and thoughts on supply chains in the following two days, Norwegian IT and Logistic Experts Mr. Espen and Mr. Per Ola shared the history of Norway IT and Supply Chains development; Dr.Dornauer provided concepts and practical examples of full-service warehouse, multi-formats portfolios, and automatic dismounting solutions for slow-moving inventory; Logistic Director of SPAR International Mr. Tom Rose introduced the evolution of supply chains. Delegates of SPAR China partners shared their significant success and challenges in the course of 2015; our suppliers also shared their thoughts on supply chain development, strategy on upgrading their products and service, and the benefits of close relationship with SPAR China.

Moreover, all delegates visited the distribution center of SPAR Sichuan and the SPAR Daqing Store on the guidance of the host SPAR Sichuan. Finally, the two-day LOGIT congress ended with a great success. Let us look forward to the next meeting.
