On June 29, China Chain Store and Franchise Association (CCFA) published the 2019 Top 100 Supermarkets list.
According to the annual survey of CCFA, the sales scale of the Top 100 Supermarkets in 2019 was 979.2 billion yuan, an increase of 4.1% year-on-year, accounting for approximately 18.1% of the total food retail sales for the year; the total store number of Top 100 Supermarkets was 26,000, an 6.6% increase compared with last year.
4 SPAR China partners are on the list, ranked by sales scale in 2019 as following:
SPAR Shandong Jiajiayue (No. 9)
SPAR Guangdong Jiarong (No. 35)
SPAR Beijing Huaguan (No. 50)
SPAR Sichuan Dehui (No. 77)
Among the Top 100 Supermarkets, 21 companies have achieved double-digit growth in sales and stores, and SPAR Shandong Jiajiayue and SPAR Guangdong Jiarong are among them.
