With the beginning of the China retail industry for the next decade, on November 7, 2019, the 3-day 21st China Retail Expo (CHINASHOP 2019) was grandly opened in Qingdao World Expo City, Shandong Province. The exhibition has a total exhibition area of 130,000 square meters and nearly 1,000 exhibitors. It has a very high influence and publicity effect in the China retail industry.
This year is also the first time that SPAR China has participated in CHINASHOP. From the West Gate of Qingdao World Expo City, the first booth to see is the SPAR Shandong Jiajiayue Group, which demonstrates SPAR Shandong Jiajiayue’s achievements in the fields of retail logistics, operations and products. Right after is the well-designed 180 square meter SPAR China booth, formed by the SPAR International and China Section, SPAR China's 8 Members Section, SPAR Private Label Products Section, SPAR Store Operation and Logistics Display Section, and also resting and discussion area.
For the first time, SPAR China presented through exhibition to the China retail industry, that SPAR, the world's largest voluntary retail chain, has grown globally since its establishment in 1932, and since entering China in 2004, 15 years steady development. The eight panels show the development of the eight SPAR China members, i.e. SPAR Shandong, SPAR Guangdong, SPAR Beijing, SPAR Sichuan, SPAR Henan, SPAR Hebei (Zhangjiakou), SPAR Yunnan, and SPAR Hebei (Shijiazhuang) in the order of time axis. The 4 larger boards is a prominent showcase of the four business scopes of SPAR China's supply chain, which is also the first anniversary since its launch last year in 2018 CHINASHOP.
During the exhibition, SPAR China Booth attracted the attention of many independent Chinese retailers, consulting SPAR development in China and how to become a member of the SPAR family. At the same time, many suppliers of goods and equipment have expressed strong interest in the SPAR China supply chain’s joint procurement and negotiation model, and intend to establish cooperation.
